RULES

 

 

  1. The League shall be "open" to all players in the Hull area. Teams are to consist of a minimum of 6 players and a maximum of 12 players.

  2. Matches are to be played on Monday Nights with a 2045hrs start

  3. Matches are to be played on a "Standard Doubles Dart Board"

  4. Teams may register new players up until the halfway stage of the season, providing that the player has NOT played for any other team in the current season and also that the team doesn't exceed the maximum allocation of 12 registered players

  5. The Playing Format shall be as follows - 2 triples teams playing 1 leg of 701, 3 pairs playing 1 leg of 601, 6 individuals each playing the best of 3 legs 501. Teams are to nominate 6 players for the triples - draw then to be made. Teams are to nominate 6 players for the pairs - Draw then to be made. Teams are to nominate 6 players for the individuals - Draw then to be made. Order of play as per draw made.

  6. Teams wishing to postpone a match must notify their opponents at least 24 hours before a match is due to be played.

  7. Any team not turning up for a match without prior notice shall forfeit all the points for the fixture!!! Should this happen twice during the season - The team will be eliminated from the league.

  8. Any team dropping out the league will be dealt with as follows - If they have not completed the first half of their fixtures....All points will be VOID. If they have completed the first half of the fixtures....Only matches in the second half of the season will be VOID.

  9. Any team not playing the first round of their cup competition will be automatically excluded from the shield competition for that season.

  10. Any team not completing all their fixtures through no fault of their own will be awarded average points at the end of the season

  11. Any postponed fixtures in the first half of the season must be played on or before the vacant date in the first half of the season. Any postponed fixtures in the second half of the season must be played on or before the vacant date in the second half of the season. Failure to do so could result in Teams losing the points. See Ruling 11. 

  12. Teams cannot register players just to play in the competitions (ie Team, Individual or Pairs Knockouts). To be eligible to play in these competitions, Players must be seen to play an active part in the league.
